The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) plunged in Tuesday’s trading session (February 24, 2026) after rallying strongly the day before. At yesterday’s close, the index fell by 115 points or 1.37% to 8,280.83.

A total of 153 stocks advanced, 567 declined, and 99 remained unchanged. Trading value ahead of the close reached Rp29.51 trillion, with 60.75 billion shares traded across 3.41 million transactions. Market capitalization also dropped below Rp15,000 trillion.

Foreign investors recorded a net buy of Rp1.38 trillion across all markets, consisting of Rp621.89 billion in net purchases in the regular market and Rp754.96 billion in the negotiated and cash markets. Despite the overall net buying position, several stocks were simultaneously offloaded by foreign investors.

The stock with the largest net foreign sell was PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC) at Rp141.2 billion, followed by PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) at Rp102.27 billion.
