IHSG Tests 8,600 Level, Analysts Recommend These Stocks for Profit

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed higher on Friday’s trading session (December 12), gaining 0.46% to end at 8,660.50. The advance was mainly driven by a sharp rally in BRMS shares, which surged 24.87%, followed by AMMN rising 5.91% and ASII climbing 2.33% as the main contributors. Meanwhile, declines in DSSA (-3.06%), BMRI (-2.63%), and GOTO (-2.94%) limited the index’s upward movement.

 

Foreign investors recorded positive activity, posting a net buy of Rp569.66 billion in the regular market and a total net buy of Rp283.92 billion across all markets.

 

From a sectoral perspective, five out of 11 sectors closed in positive territory. The basic materials sector led the gains with a 5.52% increase, while the technology sector was the weakest performer, falling 2.20%.

 

On the corporate front, ABM Investama (ABMM), through its subsidiary Cipta Kridatama, signed a syndicated financing facility agreement worth Rp4.20 trillion with several national banks on December 12. The facility includes an accordion option of up to Rp1.00 trillion, available for a maximum period of two years, and represents 36.03% of the company’s equity as of 9M25.

 

Meanwhile, Kalbe Farma (KLBF) announced a share buyback plan with a maximum value of Rp250 billion, scheduled to take place from December 16, 2025, to March 15, 2026. The program will be funded using internal cash, with the company’s cash and cash equivalents recorded at Rp4.04 trillion as of 9M25. The buyback will be executed through transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in accordance with POJK No. 13/2023 and POJK No. 29/2023.
