The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed in positive territory for the trading week ending Friday (Dec 5, 2025), rising 1.46% to finish at 8,632.76.

 

Throughout the week, the JCI moved close to its all-time intraday high of 8,689.09, while the lowest level of 8,493.24 was briefly touched during Monday’s morning session.

 

Industrial, non-cyclical consumer, and infrastructure stocks served as the main drivers of the index’s advance, gaining 11.8%, 10%, and 9.54% respectively over the week.

 

Trading activity was also very strong, with 235.82 billion shares exchanged—dominated by buying interest—resulting in transaction value of Rp106.82 trillion and 13.4 million trade frequencies.

 

With the JCI maintaining its upward momentum, several stocks are considered attractive to watch for today’s session, Monday (Dec 8, 2025).
