IHSG Still in the Red, But These Stocks Are Worth Watching-Opportunities Amid Pressure

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed nearly flat on Friday (Nov 21), slipping slightly by 0.07% to 8,414.35.
Several stocks—such as GOTO (+6.67%), BRMS (+4.21%), and EMTK (+8.62%)—acted as major movers pushing the index upward, while TLKM (-3.85%), BBRI (-3.85%), and BBNI (-1.57%) weighed the index down.
Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp 232.30 billion in the regular market and Rp 26.57 trillion in total.
Sector-wise, 5 out of 11 sectors weakened, led by the financial sector which dropped 0.61%. On the other hand, the technology sector posted the strongest gain at +2.72%.
Meanwhile, XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera (EXCL) announced a cash dividend distribution totaling Rp 2.89 trillion, equivalent to 30.6% of retained earnings, following the decision made at the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on November 21.
The dividend amounts to Rp 159 per share, representing a 5.8% dividend yield based on the November 21 closing price. The cum date is set for December 1, and the dividend payment will be made on December 11.
Additionally, SLJ Global (SULI) plans to conduct two private placements in the upcoming period. The company will seek approval at the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on December 19.
If approved, the first action will issue up to 632 million shares with a nominal value of Rp 100 each, while the second will involve 356 million shares with a nominal value of Rp 150 each. These corporate actions are part of the company’s effort to restructure its obligations to Gelora Patriot Jaya and SAS Global Jaya.
