WisdomTree Officially Joins Ondo Finance’s Global Markets Alliance, Driving TradFi and On-Chain RWA Integration

WisdomTree, a global asset manager with USD 131 billion in assets under management (AUM), has officially joined Ondo Finance’s Global Markets Alliance. This move marks a new chapter in integrating traditional finance (TradFi) with the tokenized real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem.

Previously, WisdomTree served as a technical advisor in the development of Ondo Chain — a Layer-1 blockchain designed to meet institutional standards, particularly in terms of security, compliance, and scalability (crypto.news, AInvest). Now, as an official member, WisdomTree will play a deeper role in building the infrastructure that supports interoperability, liquidity, and regulatory compliance for RWA tokens on Ondo’s Global Markets platform.

Launched in June, the Global Markets Alliance has already gathered more than 25 members, including cryptocurrency exchanges, digital wallet providers, blockchain infrastructure firms, and custodial service providers. This collaboration is designed to create unified operational standards for a globally interconnected tokenization framework.

WisdomTree’s entry expands Ondo’s institutional network. In addition to BlackRock via BUIDL, Fidelity, and Franklin Templeton, WisdomTree’s token WTGXX now enriches the ecosystem as collateral infrastructure. This diversification strengthens Ondo’s flagship products, such as OUSG (Ondo Short-Term US Government Treasuries), which currently holds over USD 730 million in locked value — supporting instant liquidity and 24/7 global market access, according to Ondo Finance reports.

This collaboration is more than a symbolic partnership; it establishes a tangible foundation to bridge traditional finance with decentralized finance through three primary benefits:

• For WisdomTree: full access to the RWA tokenization ecosystem and the ability to develop on-chain products.

• For Ondo Finance: enhanced institutional legitimacy and an expanded collateral network from established assets.
