The National Strategic Food Price Information Center has recorded the average daily price of red bird's eye chili (per kilogram) in modern markets in several provinces, reaching Rp 82,510 per kilogram, as of data on Friday, October 27, 2023. Overall, the average price this week has increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 74,100 per kilogram.

The daily price of red bird's eye chili in the modern markets of East Nusa Tenggara has become the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 149,900 per kilogram. Compared to a month ago, the price of red bird's eye chili in this province has risen. It was previously recorded at Rp 69,900 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, in the modern markets of Maluku, red bird's eye chili is sold at a price of Rp 106,250 per kilogram, making it the second most expensive in the country.

In the third position, the price of red bird's eye chili in West Kalimantan is Rp 98,900 per kilogram, South Kalimantan is Rp 97,400 per kilogram, and Gorontalo is Rp 97,200 per kilogram.

Additionally, there are 11 provinces with red bird's eye chili prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest red bird's eye chili prices are West Sulawesi, East Java, and South Sulawesi."
