Shares of PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA) indeed fell 4.17% to Rp1,035 during trading on Friday (May 8, 2026). However, behind the decline, the stock owned by conglomerate Prajogo Pangestu was quietly being accumulated by certain investors.
Foreign investors recorded a net buy of Rp2.15 billion in Chandra Daya Investasi (CDIA) shares. Not only on that particular day, foreign investors also posted a net buy of Rp19.09 billion in CDIA shares throughout the May 4-8, 2026 period.
In fact, during the two previous consecutive weeks, foreign investors continuously accumulated Chandra Daya Investasi shares with net buys of Rp4.57 billion in the third week of April and Rp9.77 billion in the fourth week of April.
Meanwhile, Prajogo Pangestu’s company, PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA), held its annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) last Friday. However, at the time this report was prepared, the official results of the AGMS had not yet been published.
The meeting consisted of seven agenda items, including the determination of the use of the company’s 2025 fiscal year net profit and approval of changes to the company’s management structure.
PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA), the company owned by Prajogo Pangestu, recorded a net profit of US$121 million for the 2025 fiscal year. The figure surged 285.2% year-on-year compared to the previous year’s profit of US$31.42 million. The net profit achievement was also the company’s first since officially conducting its IPO in July 2025.
In addition, CDIA had previously distributed an interim dividend for the 2025 fiscal year amounting to Rp1.34 per share, which was paid on January 29, 2026.
