The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) has restored access to several Google services, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides on Friday morning (22/9/2023). Previously, cloud-based productivity services owned by Google were reported by netizens to be inaccessible since Thursday night (21/9/2023).

According to Usman Kansong, Director General of Public Information and Communication at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Dirjen IKP Kominfo), Google Docs, Sheets, and other services were temporarily inaccessible due to a technical error, not because they were on the Trust Positif Kominfo block list.

Previously, some users reported that Google Docs was on the Kominfo block list. In a video uploaded by user @vincentpiano77, when opening Google Docs, he found a red window with the message "SITE BLOCKED". However, according to Usman, this was not true and was only due to a technical issue that has been resolved.

Despite this, some Indonesian citizens still complained that Google Docs, Sheets, and other services were inaccessible on Thursday night until early morning. However, Kominfo has ensured that access to Google Docs has been restored and can be accessed again by users.
