XRP Drops 10.14%, Records Biggest One-Day Loss Since February 24

The cryptocurrency XRP was trading at $2.3051 on Monday (February 25, 2025) at 05:18 AM WIB (22:18 GMT), according to the Investing.com Index. The price plummeted 10.14% in a single day, marking its largest one-day loss since February 24.


 

Market Cap Decline for XRP

This downward trend led to XRP’s market capitalization shrinking to $137.69 billion, accounting for 4.48% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, XRP’s market cap reached $190.39 billion.

 

Over the past 24 hours, XRP traded within the range of $2.2829 to $2.6028. Meanwhile, in the past seven days, XRP has declined by 11.23%, fluctuating between $2.2829 and $2.7473.

At its current price, XRP remains 32.11% below its all-time high of $3.40 recorded on January 16.


 

Cryptocurrency Market Overview

Elsewhere in the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 2.77% in a day, trading at $93,044.1, based on Investing.com Index data.

 

Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) fell 8.51% to $2,562.84.

In terms of market capitalization, Bitcoin remains dominant with a total valuation of $1.87 trillion, representing 60.71% of the crypto market, while Ethereum holds a market cap of $319.23 billion, accounting for 10.38% of the total cryptocurrency market.
