DIGIVESTASI - The government has identified 14 proposed new national strategic projects (PSN) that will be funded by private investors and do not require APBN support. These PSNs were established to support policies to accelerate downstreaming, support connectivity, development and equity of the national and regional economies, job creation, and support sectoral ministries.
There are two new PSNs being developed by the government, one is the PIK 2 location and eco-city development and the other is the Bumi Serpong Damai Integrated Area Development (BSD).
In response, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimurjono admitted that he was not aware of the application of BSD and PIK as PSN. However, when asked about PUPR's involvement in the project, he only said that the decision was made in a cabinet meeting. "Well, I don't know (whether BSD and PIK are proposed as PSN). But the cabinet has decided. PSN is not the state budget," Basuki told reporters at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta. Monday (2024/04/01).
Basuki said that his party will not be directly involved in the 14 new PSN projects, but each project will be implemented by the private sector.
"Oh, PUPR will not intervene in the near future. "Each is an individual," Baschi said.
"For example, PSN Harbour Road only has status. But the others remain because they were not previously requested (private initiative), and the others remain free of charge," he continued.
Basuki further explained that the PSN status is only a government convenience in the form of regulations. "For example, the state is financed for land acquisition by LMAN (National Asset Management Association), but if the private sector remains private," he concluded.
