Ahead of the long weekend holiday for the Ascension of Jesus Christ and the extended collective leave, the Indonesia Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG) closed in the red zone. On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the index declined by 0.32%, ending the trading session at 7,175.81.
Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a significant net buying activity totaling IDR 1.37 trillion across all markets. Even more notably, in the negotiated and cash markets, foreign investors logged a larger net buy of IDR 1.44 trillion. However, they simultaneously posted a net sell of IDR 71.36 billion in the regular market.
